The long and steamy days of summer often hampers skin care, putting a damper on your complexion.  Microdermabrasion can help keep skin balanced and reduce extra shine.  But there are more dos & don’ts for healthier skin.Sun Damage

  • DO apply at least 1 ounce of an SPF 30 broad-spectrum sunscreen, which contain’s protection against UVA and UVB rays to your face, hands and body.
  • DON’T linger in the sun, particularly between 11 am and 2 pm when the sun’s rays are apt to cause the most damage.

Oily Skin

  • DO use oil-free skin care products and light or gel-based moisturizers.
  • DON’T overwash your skin or use cleansers designed to combat oil.

Ingrown Hairs

  • DO identify ingrown hairs prior to waxing that may result from shaving, waxing and laser hair removal.
